Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is a protein consisting of an alpha and beta subunit of a combined molecular weight of 39 kDa. The alpha subunit is identical to that of FSH and LH. Assay are used for the diagnosis and monitoring of tumours of the testis and of the ovary. Levels are significantly increased during pregnancy and are monitored in blood. SCIPAC offer a selection of hCG monoclonal antibodies, including those specific for the alpha subunit and the beta subunit.
