Lactate Dehydrogenase P. falciparum (Malaria) Monoclonal Antibody

Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) is an enzyme found in all tissues, especially liver and muscle. Four different isoenzymes of LDH exist. Research has shown that the lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) of malaria parasites is immunologically distinct from the host enzyme, and hence can be utilized in the diagnosis of Malaria.
