Bulk human plasma from patients with elevated LH levels. Luteinising hormone is a heterodimeric glycoprotein with a molecular weight of ~34 kDa. It is synthesised by the anterior pituitary gland and secreted via the gonadotrophs. It is utilised in medical diagnostics during the investigation of menstrual irregularities and in the diagnosis of a number of pituitary disorders.
