Thyroid Peroxidase

Thyrois Peroxidase is the antigenic determinant of the thyroid microsome associated with anti-TPO autoantibodies. Anti-TPO is an important secondary marker in the diagnosis of Grave’s and Hashimoto disease. Thyroid antibodies are also associated with infertility and fetal loss.
